Communication
The TEDxYouth@Berlin Cosmopolitan School 2025 brought the theme of “Communication” to life, turning the school into a stage for student voices. From the first words of the school’s founder to the final note of music, the day celebrated listening, sharing, and understanding.
Students explored communication in all its forms. Grade 4 reflected on bullying and the power of kindness, while Grade 5 examined miscommunication and the impact of words, body language, and sign language. Older students challenged the audience to think critically about social media, public speaking, underwater communication, digital media, and intercultural language, showing how communication connects us across worlds both big and small.
Music and dance added energy and emotion. From Seven Nation Army to Esperame, pase lo que pase, Video Games, Yellow, and expressive dances, performances from Grades 3 to 12 brought ideas to life, including a standout cello Can Can and the inventive Walking Bass.
TEDxYouth@BCS 2025 reminded everyone that communication is not just about speaking—it’s about being heard, being felt, and being understood.
