The TEDxYouth@Berlin Cosmopolitan School 2026 centred around the theme “Knowledgeable – What Do You Know?”, inviting students and the audience to explore what knowledge really means. Throughout the both sessions, our speakers shared ideas that inspired curiosity, challenged assumptions, and encouraged everyone to keep asking questions.

Students from BCS Primary and Secondary approached the theme from many different angles. Our Grade 3 students explored the fascinating question, "How did humans get so smart?", while Grade 11 students examined whether knowledge is driven by curiosity. Other presentations addressed topics such as living and learning with dyslexia, the growing challenge of fake news and misinformation, and the dangers of becoming too dependent on AI. There were many more inspiring talks, each reflecting the students' own interests and perspectives, showing that knowledge can be found in science, nature, technology, personal experiences, and everyday life.

The programme was complemented by music and dance performances that brought energy and creativity to the stage. Students from different year groups demonstrated that learning and self-expression go hand in hand, making the event a celebration of both knowledge and talent.

TEDxYouth@BCS 2026 was a reminder that being knowledgeable is not about knowing everything. It is about staying curious, thinking critically, listening to different perspectives, and never stopping learning.
